Analgin Injection, also known as Metamizole Sodium Injection, exerts its therapeutic effects by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are key mediators of pain and inflammation. It also blocks pain impulses in the central nervous system, providing rapid analgesia.
It is primarily used for the rapid relief of severe pain and high fever, including headache, migraine, muscle pain, joint pain, and postoperative pain. It is also used for acute colic, toothache, and fever unresponsive to other treatments.
